The 2020 Holidays event is a seasonal event that began on December 1, 2020 and ended on January 19, 2021.[1] This event completely revamps many old features and has several new additions.
Grinch Simulator[]

Grinch Simulator is the original installment in the series of the Hypixel Network's simulator games, and it received a major revamp for the 2020 Holidays event. It was made similar to other games in the series (e.g. Easter Simulator, Halloween Simulator) by having more houses and presents scattered around a new map, along with removing PvP functionality. Its opposite version, Santa Simulator, is currently not available.
Lobby Redesigns[]
Lobby redesigns return from previous holiday events, with revamped lobby designs for the Main, Bed Wars, and SkyWars lobbies and a new lobby design for the Housing lobby. The Present Hunt has also been reintroduced with new locations and 94 presents in total; 40 presents in the main lobby and 3 presents in each individual lobby.
Advent Calendar[]

The Advent Calendar returns from the 2017-2019 Holidays events, with new presents for each day until December 25th. Rewards consist of merry chests, collectibles, cosmetics, boosters, and other bonuses. The first two days can be claimed at any time, though other days in the Advent Calendar can only be claimed on their respective days. Collecting Advent Calendar rewards will contribute to the Advent Calendar (2020) tiered achievement and other similar achievements.

Holiday Mystery Boxes[]
Holiday Mystery Boxes are a seasonal version of Mystery Boxes available during the holiday season. These boxes can be obtained from The Delivery Man for a different donator rank each day. They can also be purchased on the Hypixel Store, either in large bundles on the website or with additional purchase options in-game with Hypixel Gold. Holiday Mystery Boxes contain exclusive cosmetics that are only available during holiday events, with new cosmetics being introduced for this holiday season.

Merry Chests[]
Merry Chests are a category of holiday Loot Chests available for SkyWars, Bed Wars, and Murder Mystery. These chests can drop exclusive holiday cosmetics, which can also be purchased in the shop for the game's cosmetic currency depending on the rarity. Merry Chests can be obtained once for free at the Shopkeeper (all games), in place of regular Loot Chests (Bed Wars), or through the Hypixel Store (all games).
