The 2023 Halloween event was a seasonal event that began on October 3, 2023[1] and ended on November 6, 2023. Similar to other seasonal events, it came with a Hypixel store discount, an updated event shop, new maps, reskins, and more! This event also introduced a seasonal bingo card, similar to the 10th Anniversary event, and began the phase out of random loot.
Halloween bingo[]
Just like the Hypixel 10th Anniversary event, three new bingo cards, tasks, and rewards were given to every player. Major rewards for the easy, medium, and hard cards included the EPIC salmon pet, the LEGENDARY baby skeleton horse pet, and the LEGENDARY blaze cloak respectively. The bingo cards were accessible in the profile menu above the event shop, or by typing /bingo in any lobby.
Event shop[]
The event shop was updated with 22 new items being added to the shop.
With the removal of seasonal mystery boxes, all previous years' easter-themed mystery box loot was moved to the event shop, meaning the shop spans from 2015 to the present day. These items have a 25% discount applied to them, similar to the discounts applied on older items from previous events.

Halloween sale[]
The Hypixel Store offered a 25% discount off items in the in-game store and a 20% discount off items on the web store for the duration of the event.
Halloween Simulator[]
The seasonal Arcade game, Halloween Simulator, was playable throughout the duration of the event.
SkyBlock bundles[]
Like past events, seasonal sprays and furniture were claimable in SkyBlock for players with ranks.
Removing random loot[]
Hypixel announced that they would begin phasing out "random loot" which includes mystery boxes and loot chests. The first phase began when the forum post was published (October 3, 2023).[1]
Phase 1: Phase out seasonal boxes and gifts and give generosity from rank gifting.
Phase 2: Remove mystery boxes and automatically claim unopened boxes.
Phase 3: Remove loot chests in all games and possibly rename currencies such as "coins" if they are used for cosmetics.
