The 2023 Holidays event was a seasonal event that began on November 30, 2023[1] and ended on January 4, 2024.[Confirm?] Similar to other seasonal events, it came with a Hypixel Store discount, an updated event shop, seasonal bingo, new maps, map reskins, a lobby present hunt, and more!
Advent calendar[]
The Hypixel lobby Advent calendar system and the SkyBlock Advent calendar where players can claim daily rewards from December 1–25 returned for the 2023 Holidays event. The advent calendar was accessible through the Delivery Man or the by typing /advent in any lobby.
Holidays bingo[]
Seasonal bingo returned for the Holidays event with three new bingo cards, tasks, and rewards given to every player. Major rewards for the easy, medium, and hard cards included the EPIC white baby rabbit pet, the LEGENDARY snow click effect, and the LEGENDARY packed ice pet respectively. The bingo cards were accessible in the Profile menu above the event shop, or by typing /bingo in any lobby.
Event shop[]
The event shop was updated with 27 new items being added to the shop.
With the removal of mystery boxes, All of the festive seasonal mystery box loot was moved to the event shop, meaning the shop spans from 2015-present day. These items have a 25% discount applied to them, similar to the discounts applied on older items from previous events.

SkyBlock Winter update[]
Similar to the 2023 event, Jerry's Workshop would remain open on SkyBlock with some added features for the 1.19.8 JERRY'S WORKSHOP update.[2] Several rank exclusive bundles were also added, including new sprays and new furniture, available until the end of the event.

Holiday sale[]
The Hypixel Store offered a 30% discount off everything in the in-game store and a 20% discount off everything on the web store for the duration of the event.
Holiday games[]
The two seasonal Arcade games, Santa Says, a festive version of Hypixel says, and Grinch Simulator, were playable throughout the duration of the event.
Present hunt[]
The lobby present hunt made its return for the 2023 event. There were 95 present scattered across every lobby, 40 of which were in the Main Lobby and 55 were hidden across various minigame lobbies.
Ice fishing[]
Ice fishing returned for the 2023 event along with "Neptune's Nereid" who helps players get started. They were found in the same spot as before, to the right of the Main Lobby spawnpoint.
Removal of mystery boxes[]
With the launch of this event, mystery boxes were officially phased out.[3] Instead of mystery boxes dropping randomly with playtime, mystery dust is granted instead. There is a cap on all players that applies when a total of 50,000 mystery dust is earned.
Non-seasonal items are now purchasable in the collectibles menu for mystery dust. This also applies to items in crafted mystery boxes, and the cost of these has been increased to counter the previous RNG system that was used. Seasonal items are now purchasable in the event shop when their specific event is active.
Any mystery boxes which players had before this update were automatically opened.
