The 2024 Holidays event was a seasonal event that began on December 2, 2024[1] and ended on January 3, 2025. Similar to other seasonal events, it came with a Hypixel Store discount, an updated event shop, new maps, map reskins, a lobby present hunt, and more!
Advent calendar[]
The Hypixel Lobby Advent calendar system and the SkyBlock Advent Calendar where players can claim daily rewards from December 1–25 returned for the 2024 Holidays event. The Advent calendar was accessible through the Delivery Man or by typing /advent in any lobby.
Event shop[]
The event shop was updated with 27 new items being added to the shop. New cosmetic types were added, such as the SkyBlock Barn Skin and Quakecraft Railgun Parts. As always, items from previous events were given a 25% discount.

Holiday games[]
Baker's Bash[]
Baker's Bash was a new seasonal Main Lobby minigame where players attempt to bake as many treats as possible in 60 seconds by collecting the specified materials and placing them into the oven.
Arcade games[]
The two seasonal Arcade games, Santa Says, a festive version of Hypixel Says, and Grinch Simulator, were playable throughout the duration of the event.

Holiday sale[]
The Hypixel Store offered a 25% discount off items in the in-game store and a 20% discount off items on the web store for the duration of the event.
Present hunt[]
The lobby present hunt made its return for the 2024 event. There were 95 presents scattered across every lobby, 40 of which were in the Main Lobby and 55 were hidden across the other minigame lobbies.
Ice fishing[]
Ice fishing returned for the 2024 event along with "Neptune's Nereid" who helps players get started. She was found in the same spot as before, to the right of the Main Lobby spawnpoint up the pathway.
SkyBlock bundles[]
Like past events, seasonal sprays and furniture were claimable in SkyBlock for players with ranks.
Removal of seasonal bingo[]
Due to lower player turnout for bingo through each event and issues with the existing system,[2] the Hypixel Team decided to make Bingo exclusively for anniversary events (similar to the first Hypixel 10th Anniversary event bingo). Because of this, a new seasonal bingo was not added for the 2024 Holidays event, and it will return in the Hypixel 12th Anniversary event.
After internal discussion and player feedback, a plan for changes moving forward with anniversary bingos was set:[3]
- Players will be able to select one of three cards with pre-selected games so players won't have to play as many games they are not interested in as well as its difficulty, easy or hard (or both if they want).
- Cards will be reduced from a 5x5 grid (25 objectives) to a 4x4 grid (16 objectives).
- Some objectives which are too difficult may be simplified or removed.
- A new bingo shop with a new simple currency will be added. Card completions will reward currency based on the difficulty with completed rows still granting other rewards. Exclusive cosmetics will be added to the shop with at least two new cosmetics being added with each event to incentivize completing Bingo again in a future event.
- Bingo and the event will be marketed better as compared to being quite hidden in the Profile menu.
