The Alpha Hypixel Network (acronymized as AHN), or Alpha Network, is a testing server that allows players to test upcoming updates for games on the Hypixel Network. The server was announced on May 5, 2020, along with the return of linking to the Hypixel Discord through the /discord command, and access to the admin-lounge channel for testers.[1]
The rank required to join may vary based on what is being tested, so it may be open to those with MVP++/YouTubers, anyone with a rank, or another combination.

The Alpha Hypixel Network hosts testing sessions in which the server (alpha.hypixel.net) is open to users to test specified subjects, usually upcoming updates or features for specific games. Currently, SkyBlock is the only supported game on the server, and upcoming updates for the game are planned to be tested in the server.
The Alpha Network will also occasionally reset, wiping player data from the alpha server.

On November 22, 2022, a noticeboard was added to the lobby with information about the session objective. The lobby was then changed from a duplicate of Hypixel's main lobby to a custom map, a seemingly smaller version of the main lobby.
