Classic Duels is a competitive Duels gamemode where players fight to the death in a standard 1v1 duel. It is the most basic and one of the most popular Duels modes. It was first released to the Prototype Lobby with the introduction of Duels on January 19, 2017[1] and fully introduced with the release the official v1.0 Duels lobby on March 2, 2018.[2]
Gameplay[]
Two players fight in a 1v1 duel. Each player is given iron armor, an iron sword, a bow, a fishing rod, and five arrows. Players must kill their opponent to win.
After 2 minutes, a border will begin to shrink that will damage players who are outside of it, forcing players closer to each other. After 4 more minutes (two minutes before the game ends), the border will stop shrinking. Games are limited to eight minutes. If nobody wins after the time is up, the duel is a draw.
Duels stats[]
Upon winning, the player's Overall Duels streak and Classic Duel streak will increase. "Classic" is the name used for the Classic Duels division.
