Coins are the main currency used for most games across the network. Each lobby/game usually has its own specific coin (e.g. Arcade coins or SkyWars coins). Coins are usually used to purchase cosmetics or upgrades for a game in a game's shop.
For some games, Hypixel is renaming their currencies to "tokens" rather than coins due to the various ways coins are used across games.

Each game's coin has a different value; some games' coins are easier or harder to obtain than other games' coins. A good way to determine a coins value is to base it off of Arcade coins as these are easiest to obtain. Arcade coins can be converted to another game's coin in the Arcade shop.
