Event silver is a currency used to buy cosmetics in the event shop during seasonal events. It was introduced during the 2022 Summer event, replacing the usual seasonal mystery boxes.
Obtaining[]
Event silver is obtained when a player increases their event level by gaining event experience mainly from playing games. The player's rank determines the amount of silver they earn per level, and they purchase a higher rank during an event, they will automatically be given silver they would have earned from that rank.
Players are also able to purchase event experience using Hypixel gold which can be used to level up and get more silver. The event level is capped at 100, meaning there is a limited amount of silver one can get per event. Silver left over from previous events will be carried over to the next event, even if it's not of the same type (e.g. silver earned during the summer would be usable during the Halloween event).

Event Silver can be spent in the event shop to buy lobby cosmetics, game cosmetics, and more. The shop is split by years, and all of the season's cosmetics are present in the shop. Cosmetics from previous years are given a 25% discount.
