Events

Events on the Hypixel Network encompass specific occasions such as seasons, holidays, and anniversaries. They often come with Hypixel Store sales, limited time cosmetics and games, lobby reskins, shops, and more.

Lunar

Lunar event are minor year-round events celebrating the Chinese New Year along with its respective Chinese zodiac signs. Unlike other event types, its features which include themed cosmetics and maps stick around for the entire year.

Easter

Easter events are major month-long events celebrating Easter which usually start in late March or early April and end in late April or early May. Special features for Easter event include the Easter event shop, an Easter-themed Arcade game, and a Main Lobby easter egg hunt.

Easter Simulator

Easter Simulator is a seasonal Arcade game where players rush through houses to collect as many Easter eggs as possible within four minutes.

Eggs, which are found in, on, and around the houses, can be clicked to earn one point. A map is given to each player displaying the locations of all remaining eggs along with all player positions. The player with the most points after the time is up wins the game.

Anniversary

Anniversary events are major events celebrating the anniversary of the Hypixel Network, which was opened on April 13, 2013. The special features for anniversary events is the anniversary bingo.

Bingo

Main article: Bingo

Bingo is an annual objective-based reward system that encourages players to play a variety of games while completing specific tasks. A 4x4 easy and hard bingo card are given for three categories—Casual, PvP, and Classic—for a total of 6 cards. Rewards are given for completing rows, columns, diagonals, and blacking out a card (completing all 16 tasks on a given card). Bingo bucks is an exclusive currency used in the bingo shop awarded with blackouts.

Summer

Summer events are major three-month-long events celebrating the season of summer which usually start in late June and end in early September. The special feature for summer events is the Summer event shop.

Halloween

Halloween events are major month-long events celebrating Halloween which usually start in early October and end in early November. Special features for Halloween events include the Halloween event shop, a Halloween-themed Arcade game, three Main Lobby minigames, and a Main Lobby candy basket hunt.

Halloween Simulator

Halloween Simulator is a seasonal Arcade game where players rush through houses to collect as many candy baskets as possible within four minutes.

Baskets, which are found in, on, and around the houses, can be clicked to earn one point. A map is given to each player displaying the locations of all remaining baskets along with all player positions. Painting portals, collapsing floorboards, and slowness zombies are some unique features to Halloween Simulator compared to the other seasonal Arcade games. The player with the most points after the time is up wins the game.

Pumpkin Smash

Pumpkin Smash is a seasonal Main Lobby minigame where players hit pumpkins into targets to achieve the highest score within 60 seconds.

Pumpkins bounce around the room, and the player must use their "Pumpkin Whacker 3000" shovel to knock it into the wall of targets, each one hit giving a point. Evil bombs will occasionally spawn traveling towards the player, and they will spawn more frequently as the game progresses. The wall of targets will occasionally move to the next wall to the left. The game will end if the bomb "explodes"/contacts the player.

Turbo Bat Racers

Turbo Bat Racers is a seasonal Main Lobby minigame where players ride a bat through a series of rings without crashing. The name of this game is inspired by the Classic game, Turbo Kart Racers.

The player can select one of three courses: Forest Fright, the easy course; Riverside Revenge, the medium course; or Cryptic Castle, the hard course. These courses have changed as the Main Lobby has gone through updates. The higher the difficulty of the course, the tighter and more precise the course is.

Rings made of smoke particles will appear, and the player must maneuver the bat they are riding to go through them. Pressing the jump key will boost the bat upwards, similar to Flappy Bird. If the player crashes into blocks in front of them or on the floor, their run will end.

Undead Archery

Undead Archery is a seasonal Main Lobby minigame where players use a bow to shoot zombies.

Holidays

Holidays events are major month-long events celebrating winter, Advent, and Christmas which usually start on or around December 1st and end in early January. Special features for holidays events include the advent calendar, the holidays event shop, two holiday-themed Arcade games, a Main Lobby minigame, a lobby present hunt, and ice fishing.

Grinch Simulator v2

Grinch Simulator v2 is a seasonal Arcade game where players rush through houses to collect as many presents as possible within four minutes.

Presents, which are found in, on, and around the houses, can be clicked to earn one point. A map is given to each player displaying the locations of all remaining presents along with all player positions. The player with the most points after the time is up wins the game.

Santa Says

Main article: Santa Says

Santa Says is a seasonal Arcade game and holiday-themed remake of of Hypixel Says where players complete tasks assigned to them to get points.

There are two types of tasks: participation and placement tasks. For participation tasks, all players who successfully complete the task will earn a point, and for placement tasks, only the top three will earn points with 1st earning three points, 2nd earning two, and 3rd earning one. The tasks are a mix of those from Hypixel Says and special seasonal tasks.

Baker's Bash

Baker's Bash is a seasonal Main Lobby minigame where players bake as many treats as they can within 60 seconds.

The player must collect the three ingredients displayed above the oven, then click on the oven to submit. Ingredient chests are placed around the room, and the ingredient displayed is given upon right clicking them. The placement of ingredients is randomized with each game, and some chests will not have an ingredient associated with it. Items can be discarded by click the Trash cauldron to the right of the oven. The order the ingredients are collected does not matter.
