The Hypixel Forums are a place where game updates, ideas and feedback, in-game achievements and other opinions on a variety of things related to the Hypixel Network can be discussed.
Linking a Minecraft account to a forum account will reward the "Creeperbook" achievement and 15,000 Hypixel Experience.

Forum Ratings[]
The Forums also have 17 ratings that can be assigned to posts, however not all of them can be given by every user. Some also have certain requirements which must be unlocked before they can be used.
Positive Ratings[]
There are six positive ratings on the Forums. Each positive rating received increases a user's reaction score by +1. Each positive rating deleted from a user's profile increases a user's reaction score by +2. All of these ratings can be given by all users.
- Like - Displayed as a thumbs up emoticon. Used to express when you like content.
- Agree - Displayed as a green checkmark emoticon. Used to express agreement with the content.
- Funny - Displayed as a laughing face emoticon. Used to express when you find content funny.
- Useful - Displayed as a crossed hammer and spanner emoticon. Used to express when you find content useful.
- Creative - Displayed as an artboard with a clownfish in the centre emoticon. Used to express when you find content creative.
- Hype Train - Displayed as a steam train emoticon. Used to express "Hype" towards news or in-game achievements.
Negative Ratings[]
There are two negative ratings on the Forums. Users require 100 messages on the Forums before they are able to give out negative ratings. Only nine negative ratings can be given per day, with a maximum of three per player per day. Each negative rating received decreases a user's reaction score by -1. Each negative rating deleted from a user's profile decreases a user's reaction score by -2.
- Dislike - Displayed as a thumbs down emoticon. Used to express when you dislike content.
- Disagree - Displayed as a red cross emoticon. Used to express disagreement with the content.
Special Ratings[]
There are five special ratings on the Forums. All of these ratings behave the same as an ordinary positive rating.
- MVP++ Gold - Displayed as a shining golden coin emoticon. Typically used to express appreciation on special or well-made posts. Can only be given by a player who has the [MVP++] rank.
- YouTuber Redstone - Displayed as a shining redstone emoticon. Typically used to express appreciation on special or well-made posts. Can only be given by a player who has the [YOUTUBE] rank.
- GMerald - Displayed as a shining emerald emoticon. Previously known as "Mod Emerald." Typically used to express appreciation on special or well-made posts. Can only be given by a player who has the [GM] (or Game Master) rank.
- Admin Diamond - Displayed as a shining diamond emoticon. Typically used to express appreciation on special or well-made posts. Can only be given by a player who has the [ADMIN] rank.
- Wat - Displayed as a confused face emoticon. Used when a post has confused or concerned a staff member. Can only be given by a player who has the [ADMIN] rank.
Removed Ratings[]
There are four removed ratings on the Forums. Bug, Helper Lapis and Mod Emerald ratings behaved in the same way as an ordinary positive rating, while the Rude rating behaved in the same way as an ordinary negative rating.
- Bug - Displayed as a red crawling bug emoticon. Used by the Bugs Team on successful bug reports. Could only be given by a player who had either the [MOD], [GM], or [ADMIN] ranks. Removed in order to streamline bug reports.
- Helper Lapis - Displayed as a shining lapis emoticon. Was typically used to express appreciation on special or well-made posts. Could only be given by a player who had the [HELPER] rank. No longer obtainable due to the [GM] rank replacing the [HELPER] and [MOD] ranks.
- Mod Emerald - Displayed as a shining emerald emoticon. Was typically used to express appreciation on special or well-made posts. Could only be given by a player who had the [MOD] rank. No longer obtainable due to the [GM] rank replacing the [HELPER] and [MOD] ranks.
- Rude - Displayed as an angry face emoticon. Used as a method to display content which was considered to be rude. Could only be given by a player who had the [ADMIN] rank.
Thread Stamps[]
Forum threads can also have different "Stamps" at the end of them. There are four which are current, and two which have been removed.
Current Stamps[]
- Locked - Displayed as a padlock emoticon. This means no users are able to reply to the thread.
- Pinned - Displayed as a thumbtack emoticon. This means a thread is pinned to the subforum and will always remain at the top of it.
- Poll - Displayed as a graph emoticon. This means that the thread contains a poll which users can vote on.
- Watching - Displayed a bell emoticon. This means you are watching the thread (either by replying to it or manually choosing to), and you will be notified of further messages.
Removed Stamps[]
- Admin Reply - Displayed as a Hypixel logo emotion. This meant that there is a reply by a staff member at some point on the thread (or it was created by one).
- Redirect - Displayed as an arrow inside a box emoticon. This meant that the thread is now located in another subforum, but this link can still be used to access it.
Forum Ranks[]
Other than custom staff ranks, all players can achieve 10 different forum ranks by posting more and getting more likes:

Previously, all Helpers had the "Helper" forum tag, and Moderators by default had the "Moderator" forum tag, however both Moderators and Admins were able to change own tag.
Now, after the removal of these two ranks and the addition of the "Game Master" rank, both Game Masters and Admins are able to change their own tag. This means that there is a large range of possible tags.
Trophy Points[]
A total of 1,465 points can be achieved through getting a total of 20 Trophies.
