Gifts (or Gift Packs) were bundles of mystery boxes that are traded (or "gifted") to a friend for them to open. The gifting system was announced on April 8, 2016[1] but was phased out with the removal of random loot.[2]
5Obtaining[]
Gifts can be obtained through reward cards[Confirm?]. They were previously available on the Hypixel Store but were removed at the start of the 2023 Halloween Event.[2]
Giving[]
Gifts can be given to friends through the Gift Inventory, found at the bottom of the Mystery Vault, or through the /gift command. The gifter can choose which gift pack they would like to give and who to gift it to. Once sent, the gifts are stored in the recipient's mystery vault with the IGN of the player who gave it attatched and are sorted first in the list until opened. Unlike regular mystery boxes, gifts never expire whether in the Gift Inventory or the Mystery Vault.
Once opened, the gift pack will display the 5 boxes and their quality in chat.
Generosity[]
When players open a gift they recieved, they will radiate with generosity for the next game they play. This gives everybody in the game a Small Bag of Hypixel Experience which they can claim in the Mystery Vault.
Gift Contributor Rewards[]
There are 6 rewards that can be obtained after giving certain amount of gifts ranging from 1 to 100 gift packs given.

Trivia[]
- The generosity system has been "exploited" to create XP parties[3]; however, there was later a nerf that reduced the number that could stack together.
