Grinch Simulator is a seasonal arcade game available during holiday events. It was initially released on December 1, 2016, but received a complete revamp on December 1, 2020 (Now known as: Grinch Simulator V2) including a new map.

Gameplay

Players are put into a large snowy map with houses that have gifts in, on, and around them. Gifts can be clicked and are worth a point each. Gifts can be located using the map in the player's hotbar which displays all of the gift locations as well as their position and the other player's positions. The player with the most points after four minutes are up wins the game.

All players are also given various grinch skins.

Tournaments

There have been two Hypixel Grinch Simulator tournaments, both using the legacy version of the game (Grinch Simulator V1):

• The first iteration took place from December 18th to December 20th, 2020.
• The second iteration took place from December 16th to December 18th, 2023.
