Hypixel (Simon Collins-Laflamme) is a map creator most known for founding the Hypixel Network, currently the largest server on Minecraft: Java Edition.
History[]
Hypixel joined YouTube on June 14th, 2012 and uploaded his first video on June 20th, 2012. The video currently has 200,000 views and was a simple floor trap. The floor trap would cause players to fall to their death, and its intentional use was for multiplayer servers. Hypixel made his first large map with another YouTuber, Sethbling, titled "Team Fortress 2". The map was based off of the game "Team Fortress 2", and its map, Dustbowl.
Shortly after this, Hypixel's Build Team was born, releasing well-known maps such as Herobrine's Mansion.
