The nickname system is a feature that allows you to disguise yourself while playing games on the server. This is made to prevent high-profile players from being recognized and targeted in games.
Eligability[]
The system is publicly available for players with the MVP++ or YOUTUBE rank. However, the system for MVP++ is limited, only allowing system-generated usernames, and limited to 6 nickname changes per day. With the YOUTUBE rank, you have unlimited access, and able to input any username as your nickname, as long as that user doesn't exist.
How to Use[]
Setting Nickname[]
- Make sure you have [MVP++] or [YOUTUBE] rank. If so, type in chat:
/nick - A book GUI will appear with a small disclaimer. Press, "I understand, set up my username."
- Pick what rank you want to be disguised as. You are limited to: Default, VIP, VIP+, MVP, and MVP+.
- Choose whether you want to use your normal skin, a Steve/Alex skin, or a random skin.
- If you are [MVP++], you are given a bunch of generated names that you can choose.
- [YOUTUBE] ranked players are given the option to type out their nickname. However, you are not allowed to use names of players on the server.
- Done! You should see at the top of your hotbar that you are nicked.
Removing Nickname[]
- Simply type in chat:
/nick reset(This can only be done in lobbies) - You should revert to your real username, skin, and rank.
Ignoring Nicknames
If a user is /ignored with the nickname, once the user loses all MVP++ days, the username will remain instead of the nickname.
