Roots is a Crazy Solo map for SkyWars announced on March 8, 2019 and released on March 15, 2019. It was removed after the SkyWars Crazy Solo Tournament ended. The map consists of 4 groups of 3 spawn islands, and is set up very similar to the Steampunk map.
Roots was added back as a standard solo/doubles map in the map rotation on August 23, 2021 and is often rotated in and out of the weekly map rotation that began on August 2, 2021.

- Roots received a couple of 'map changes' on August 9, 2022 which added an enchanting table to middle, and reduced to number of diamonds at middle from 6 to 5.
