Scuba Simulator was a seasonal game found in the Arcade Games lobby during summer. It was a summer-themed remake of Grinch Simulator with treasure instead of presents. It was released on June 16, 2020, alongside the 2020 Summer event[1]. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
Scuba Simulator was cancelled for the 2021 Summer event,[2] and it's achievements were made legacy, but Hypixel stated they would revisit it in the future. It did not make a return in the following years, though; the future of the game is very uncertain.
Players spawn on a map with a treasure scattered randomly throughout. Players are also given fishing rods which inflict slowness when cast onto another player. Punching also affects the other player with slowness. Unique to Scuba Simulator is that treasure does not all give the same amount of points, ranging from one to five. The game will end when the time runs out or all treasure is collected, and the player with the most points wins.
