The YOUTUBE rank (a.k.a. the Creator rank) is a special rank that is given to YouTube creators and Twitch streamers who are a part of the Hypixel Creator Program. The rank is given on a case-by-case basis to people who apply and meet the criteria specified. The rank essentially makes it easier to make content on the server as it contains all perks from of MVP++ rank, including more.
This is the only current non-staff rank on the server that is technically available for free, if the criteria is met.
Requirements[]
In order to access the rank, YouTube creators or Twitch streamers must meet the requirements set for their platform and content.
YouTube[]
Long-form/Streamers[]
- 30,000+ subscribers for gaming channels with frequent new Minecraft-focused content.
- 100,000+ subscribers for gaming channels with infrequent new Minecraft-focused content. (Must post gaming content)
- 1,000+ views on all videos and past streams with a week of uploading. (Minimum increases if uploads are less frequent and/or less regular. This does not apply to shorts content where views are higher on average.)
- Active channel regularly producing original content with reasonable quality.
- Have uploaded any Minecraft-related videos along with some public Hypixel Network content.
- Have not violated the general content guidelines.
- For streamers: Catalogue of past streams, public or unlisted, available to review.
Shorts[]
As of now, creators who purely focus on Shorts content are not eligible for the rank as Hypixel believes Shorts are a supplement to long-form content. Creators should instead work on other types of eligible content, such as long-form or streams. Compilations or highlights of Shorts are not considered as long-form content.
Twitch/Streaming platforms[]
- 30,000+ followers (default, non-paid tier followers) gained through legitimate means.
- 50+ concurrent viewers on average; not a one-time spike or peak.
- Active and regular streaming schedule producing frequent, predictible gaming content with an available and reasonable stream archive.
- Frequent gaming-focused content, including some Minecraft-focused content.
Application[]
Applications submitted for YOUTUBE rank are reviewed by the admins to confirm eligibility, and requirements may change on a case-by-case basis. Applications can be submitted either through Hypixel Support (the recommended method) or via email at the address: creators@hypixel.net.
Required information[]
- Channel links as some platforms allow for multiple accounts with the same display names.
- Current IGN (in-game name) that the rank will be given to.
Hypixel Support[]
Submitting a request through the Hypixel support request form is the recommended way to apply. The form should include necessary information in the correct fields such as the social media platforms in the subject line, IGN in the Minecraft username field, and links and information in the description box.
Email[]
Submitting a request through email to creators@hypixel.net is also available. The subject line should be "Creator Program Application" followed by one's social media platforms. The message body should include all other necessary information such as channel links and the player's IGN.

- Full access to the nickname system (unlimited changes per day & can use any custom username not already on Hypixel) (/nick)
- Ability to vanish in lobbies (username hidden in tab, still visible to party/friends)
- Bypass 30-second shout delay (/shout)
- x7 coin multiplier for all modes
- Bypass anti-cheat setbacks (ghost blocks don't teleport the player back; better response rate)

Trivia[]
- The YOUTUBE rank originally had a golden [YT] prefix and forums frame before MVP++ was released, where it was then changed to the red color it is known today.
- Previously, the YouTube Rank had a permission to use /settheme in Build Battle and Pixel Painters. The command was removed from the rank in Build Battle due to abuse, but the command still works in Pixel Painters.[Confirm?]
